Flower Card

I've been making so many cards lately that my scrap paper pile is getting a little too big!  Although I try to use scraps on cards whenever I can it seems that lately I've been making more than I'm using.  Now the battle against scraps is on in full force!  In addition to creating fun Valentine's cards, I've challenged myself to use up as many scraps as possible.  Today's card is just that, made from some scraps!

Supply list -

White cardstock card base
Patterned paper - Die Cuts With A View
Flowers - Kaiser Scrapbook
Brad - Doodlebug
Ink - Clearsnap Smooch Spritz in Pink Sprinkles

I think this color combination is just beautiful!  Of course since all the papers are DCWV they match perfectly!

The top and bottom sunflower are misted with the Smooch Spritz and the centre flower is plain.  I tried to fluff up the petals a bit for added dimension.

The picture may not show it well, but the shimmery mist really plays off of the sparkle in the papers.

This card was simple and fast to make plus I think it will be great for many different occasions!  I always love hearing what you think and what you've been up to, leave a comment!

Happy Scrapping!  Candice
